Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in learning more about pediatric therapies or are in need of observation hours for professional school applications please read the following guidelines and follow the contact directions below.

Guidelines:

• Volunteers must attend orientation and training session before observing.
• Volunteers are scheduled to observe at regular times each week.
• Schedule must stay the same every week to maintain a stable environment for the children.
• A minimum 6 week commitment is required.
• Confidentiality is very important and must be maintained! Names and diagnoses are not to be used outside of facility.
• Assist with treatment sessions: therapeutic play and light cleaning

• Name, phone number, email address
• Type of therapy you are interested in observing (physical, occupational, or speech therapy)
• Business Hours you are available to observe:  (Example: I am available Mondays and Wednesdays 2pm to 6pm and Tuesdays 8am to noon.)

NOTE: PTI only sees patients Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm.
